GOD IS GOOD ! Yes all the time ! Before I get into my great story / testimony of how GOD gifted me with this great location , I want to give a heart felt thank you to all the friends that posted such nice stories about me on the internet. May GOD bless you all ! Now as you know or don’t know the Linden Street store is now closed. A few months ago we were facing real financial problems , with our economy the way it is there were days at a time that we wouldn’t see a customer , our birthday parties were drying up , our new training center “Goosebumps” never got off the ground , and our autograph sessions were getting far and few between ,a huge problem with ebay that I did nothing wrong. not to mention a few people who screwed me over. The business wasn’t doing well at all.

I wake up every morning around 8:00 grab my coffee and either watch Joyce Meyer or Joel Osteen to start my day. Believe me friends the word of GOD is the best way to start your mornings ! After brushing my teeth its time to go for a walk with my dog “Bruno”. Yea I know what your thinking but actually my wife Cindy Lu named him , he’s a real pal. During my walk I talk to the LORD as if he was right there with me , Actually he is ,I praise him for the great life he has giving me and ask him for a blessing on the day , I ask him to help me with the problems that I am struggling with , (believe me there are many) I tell him my thoughts on many subjects some real relatable and some it just don’t matter. GOD has become my best friend.

Just recently I had talked to him about the state of my business and what to do about it. There was a part of the business that I loved and was good at but had a problem with whether it was ethical and legal. I battled a long time over this issue and asked the LORD what to do about it.

GOD answered , without question I gave up that part of my business , but that left a dilemma , What I gave up was a large percentage of my income , and surely without it and the way the economy was , I was surely doomed. I again went to GOD and asked him what next? A pleasent calm came into my life , A business that I truly loved and spent 10 years building was coming to an end , I wasn’t upset , actually a bit relieved , I knew that If I gave up something that I truly loved my heavenly father who truly loves me would replace it with something much better. So I trusted him , and started the process to shut down the store , just the store , I still would have this web site and the conventions and shows .

Merchants Square I have been going to Merchants Square almost since they opened nearly 20 years ago , I’ve done many Sports card shows there some toy shows there , and always liked going there. I met my partner Chad there as a matter of fact , Chad had a small wrestling shop there , and I did what I could to help him and his former partner out with a few things . Not to step on any toes , Chad seemed to me that he wanted more that what he was doing there so I asked him and his partner to join up with me , Chad came aboard but the partner had issues and made a mess out of what remained and soon went out of business. Chad became a blessing for my business and on my life. Any way as things got harder and harder to make a go of it on Linden Street. Chad suggested that I go talk to the owner of the Merchants Square and see if there would be space and maybe move the store there instead of going completely out of business. Again I spoke with my heavenly father about it and asked him for advise , I felt good about going over and talking to Mike Roche about a new adventure , I knew that either way GOD was in control and what ever happened it was for my best interest. Within a day Mike and I agreed on a fair price for the space. A new blessing was on its way.

When Mike and I sat down to sign the new contract I found out that he is a big sports fan and a fan of old school wrestling. Do ya feel it ?

Now let me tell you about this new store , its bigger than the old store front , it has its own air conditioning and heating unit ( if you were ever at the old store in the summer you would understand) ), it has over 250 parking spaces instead of maybe 5 or 6), Do ya feel it yet ? It is on the beautiful south side of Allentown instead of the inter city ( which was a real pain to find). It is approx 1/2 mile from Route 78 which is the major highway between New York City and Harrisburg. Do you feel it now? Okay!

How about this , when sitting at the meeting with my new friend Mike , he suggested that he would like to have live wrestling there at Merchants Square ( the hair on the back of my neck stood up). So Lehigh Valley Wrestling may be making a come back very soon. SEE FLYER AT THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE.

That’s not all. “ The Living Legend “ Bruno Sammartino came back to Allentown on November 8th for our Grand Re Opening. Bruno was my very first autograph signing 10 years ago. So what better way to christen our new store and a new era in wrestling memorabilia than to have the greatest wrestling champion of all time here to meet and greet his many Lehigh Valley Fans.
